Classifieds Software for Buy-and-Sell Marketplaces
Your own classified app, where people list what they have, find what they want and agree the deal. How they agree it is the decision most quotes skip, because a chat thread, a phone call and a WhatsApp message are three different products. It is designed and built new for your market by a team that has built buy and sell apps many times. Most first releases go live in about 30 days.
Every classified app lives or dies on how fast somebody gets from a photo to a deal. This is the path your users take, and the part of the app that carries each step.

Clients
What our clients say.
Very professional. Our project was quite complex and they covered all the aspects. Appkodes did an amazing and professional job developing and creating our Apple and Android apps. I was positively impressed with the communication you can absolutely trust on what they say.

Awesome company to work with. I'm very satisfied about them. Not only the company delivered a good product, they were always prompt to answer my requests. Even if the project was difficult they were able to work on it and deliver it on time. Highly recommended.

I had great experience with Appkodes. They built an amazing website iibgee.com and applications. Appkodes is one of the best when it comes to web and app development for classified portals. They have great client communication and after launch support. A++.

Inside the app
Everything a marketplace needs, from day one.
A classified app looks simple from the outside, because it is a photo, a price and a message. What makes one work is everything underneath, and it is the part most first releases get wrong.
This is the machinery we build into yours, shaped around your categories and the way your market deals. Each piece is designed and built new for you, by a team that has built buy and sell apps many times.
One account, both sidesThe same person sells a bike on Monday and then buys a desk on Friday. One profile, one inbox, one set of ratings. Sign-up is a phone number and an SMS code, because email is not how every market works.
Listings in under a minutePhotos, category, condition, price and location, with fields that change by category and by country. A car asks for mileage, a flat asks for bedrooms, and a plumber asks for nothing but an area.
Search that finds itFilters for category, price, distance and condition, and results ranked in the order you decide. Standing searches watch for a buyer and alert them the moment a match is posted.
How people get in touchChat keeps the conversation and the phone number on your platform, which is what most marketplaces want. Other markets want a call button and nothing else, so that is a decision rather than a default.
Offers and swapsBuyers name a price or propose an exchange, and the seller accepts, counters or declines it. Haggling is how most of these deals actually happen, so it belongs inside the app.
Where the listings come fromAn empty marketplace has nothing to search, which is the first problem every one of these faces. So listings arrive from sellers, from dealer feeds and from bulk uploads, with duplicates caught on the way in.
Listings that stay trueA sold item still listed is the fastest way to lose a buyer for good. So listings expire, sellers get asked whether it is still available, and silence pauses the ad.
Promotions that earnSellers pay to move a listing to the top, mark it urgent or feature it on the home screen. You set the plans, the prices, the durations and what happens when a payment fails.

What you get along the way.
A plan before you commitThe scope, a fixed price and a launch date in writing, free, whether you go ahead or not.
A prototype in week oneYour screens in your brand, clickable, before a line of code is written.
A new build every weekThe app reaches your phone each week, so you watch it take shape instead of waiting for a reveal.
Both stores handledWe prepare the listings, submit the apps and answer the reviewers. Only the store account fees are yours.
A team that staysAfter launch we keep the apps fixed, current and running, and price new features the same way.
Not here? The costed plan answers the rest, for your app.
Can it work like OLX or Letgo?
Yes. Listing, search, chat, offers and paid promotions all work the way people expect from the big classifieds apps. The difference is that it is your app, with your brand, your categories and your rules, designed and built new for your market.
Do buyers have to create an account?
That decision is yours, and it shapes the product more than most people expect it to. An account requirement gives you a user list, ratings and a record of every conversation. Open browsing gets far more people to a phone number, which is what a trades directory wants. We build whichever one you pick, and your admin switches it per category later on.
Can sellers be contacted by phone or WhatsApp instead of chat?
Yes, and in plenty of markets it is the only thing people will ever use. A listing carries a call button and a WhatsApp button that open the phone directly. In-app chat still exists alongside them, where you want the conversation kept on your platform. Tell us which your buyers actually use and the listing screen gets built around it.
How do I fill a marketplace that starts empty?
The honest answer is that this is the hardest part, and it is a plan rather than a feature. What the app gives you is every route in. Sellers post their own listings, dealer and partner feeds arrive, and spreadsheets upload a thousand at a time. Duplicates get caught on the way in, so an import does not fill the app with the same advert nine times. We scope those routes with you before the build starts.
Is this a ready-made app?
No. Every app we build is designed and built new for its client. We have built buy and sell apps many times, and that experience is what lets us fix the scope, the price and the launch date before we start.
How long does it take?
Most first releases go live in about 30 days. Larger apps, or ones with several add-on modules, take longer. Your costed plan fixes the scope and the exact date in writing.
Which platforms do I get?
An iOS app, an Android app and a website for buyers and sellers, plus a web admin panel to run the marketplace. Some clients start with fewer and add the rest later.
Which languages and scripts do you support?
Whichever your market reads, and that includes right-to-left scripts such as Arabic, Dari, Pashto and Urdu. The apps, the website and the admin are all translated, not just the buyer side. Prices show in local currency, and categories differ per country. Right-to-left is real layout work rather than a translation file, so it belongs in the scope from the start.
Can I launch in more than one country?
Yes. The app supports several languages and currencies, with categories and locations set per country.
Can buyers pay inside the app?
Yes, with the Buy now module. Buyers pay by card or wallet, sellers get paid out, and you take a commission on each sale.
How do you keep scams and bad listings out?
The queue is the first line, with image moderation, user reports and seller ratings behind it. Duplicate detection catches the same advert reposted, and the same phone number behind twenty listings. Listings that go stale get an availability check, and they pause themselves when nobody replies to it. Your admin team decides how strict each one is.
Which technology do you use?
We choose the stack for your project, usually native or cross-platform mobile apps with a scalable backend and real-time chat. Your costed plan lists exactly what we will use, and the code is yours.
