Super App Development

A super app is several businesses sharing one login, one wallet and one fleet of drivers. The shared parts are what make it work: a customer who books a ride is one tap from dinner, and the same driver carries both. We build that, designed new for your city by a team that has built on-demand apps many times. Most first releases go live in about 30 days, starting with two services and one city.

  • Rides, deliveries and services
  • One login and one wallet
  • Launch city by city
How it works

From one login to every service in the city.

A super app earns when somebody who came for one service stays for the next. This is the path a customer takes across it, and the part of the software carrying each step.

  1. 01

    Sign up once

One account, verified once, opens every service in the app, and the wallet with it.

    Single sign-on

  2. 02

    Top up

Cards, bank transfer or cash at an agent go into one wallet that pays for everything.

    Shared wallet

  3. 03

    Ride

A ride is booked, matched to the nearest driver and paid from the wallet automatically.

    Rides module

  4. 04

    Order

Dinner or groceries come from the same app, often carried by a driver who was just on a ride.

    Delivery modules

  5. 05

    Book a service

A cleaner or a plumber gets booked without another download, another login or another card.

    Services module

  6. 06

    Earn back

Points from every service add up in one place, and spend on whichever comes next.

    Rewards across services

Inside the app

Everything a super app needs, from day one.

A super app is not several apps stitched together and then hidden behind a single icon. It is one account, one wallet and one fleet shared by every service, and that sharing is where both the value and the difficulty live.

This is the machinery we build into yours, shaped around your city and the services it needs. Each piece is designed and built new for you, by a team that has built on-demand apps many times.

  • One login, every serviceCustomers sign up once and every service opens with the same account, address book and payment details. Identity checks happen once, at the level the wallet needs, instead of again for every module. Social login and phone sign-in are both built in, since that is how most people join.
  • A wallet at the centreThe wallet pays for rides, orders and services, and receives refunds, cashback and driver earnings. It runs on a licensed payments or banking partner, so customer money is held properly and you never hold it yourself. Balances, limits and identity checks all follow the rules of each country you launch in.
  • Rides as the anchorPeople open a ride app several times a week, which makes rides the service that brings them back. Matching, surge pricing, fares shown up front and live tracking are all built for rides first. Every other service then borrows the map, the dispatch and the driver network already running underneath.
  • One driver pool, many jobsA driver sitting idle between two rides takes a food order or a parcel instead. One dispatch engine matches every job by distance, travel time and what the driver has switched on. Utilisation goes up for the driver and down in cost for you, which is the whole economic case.
  • Services as modulesEach service is a separate module that plugs into the shared login, wallet and dispatch. A new one, from fuel delivery to home care, is added without rebuilding the others or forcing an app update on everybody. Outside partners, like travel or pharmacy, plug in the same way through their own systems.
  • Rewards that cross servicesPoints earned on one service spend on any other, and a promotion offers free dinner delivery after a ride home. That cross-selling is the reason to build a super app rather than two separate ones. The rules sit in your admin panel, so your marketing team changes them without a developer.
  • Launch city by cityEach city switches on only the services it is ready for, with its own prices, partners and drivers. Most launches start with rides and one delivery service, then add the rest as the fleet grows. Launching fourteen half-finished services on the very first day is exactly how super apps tend to fail.
  • Built to carry a whole cityA super app takes its traffic in waves, from the morning commute to the dinner rush. Each module scales on its own, so a busy dinner rush never slows down a ride request. Maps, payments and dispatch are load-tested for the peak before a new city goes live.

Markets

One app type, many cities.

The same pattern of one login, one wallet and a shared fleet works almost anywhere services are fragmented across apps. Each version is designed around its own market: its payments, its roads, its idea of convenience.

Trust and safety

Keep money, riders and drivers safe.

A super app moves people, parcels and money, so its failures are physical and financial as well as digital. These are built in from the first release, rather than bolted on after the first incident.

  • Identity checks for the walletKnow-your-customer checks sized to the wallet limits.
  • Driver vettingLicences, vehicles and background checks, once for every service.
  • Trip sharing and SOSLive trips shared with family, and an emergency button.
  • Fraud detectionUnusual top-ups, transfers and promo abuse flagged.
  • Money held properlyCustomer funds with a licensed partner, never on your books.
  • Audit logWho acted, when, and what they decided.

Questions

Before you build.

Not here? The costed plan answers the rest, for your app.

Can it work like Grab or Gojek?

Yes, in the way customers expect: one login, one wallet, and rides, food and services side by side. The difference is that it is yours, built for your city, with your services switched on in the order you choose.

What is a super app?

It is one app that holds several services behind a single login and a single wallet. Customers ride, order food, send parcels and pay their bills without ever switching to another app. The shared account, wallet and driver network are what separate it from a folder of separate apps.

Which services should we launch first?

Usually rides and one delivery service, in one city. Rides bring people back several times a week, and a delivery service keeps drivers busy between trips. The rest are added as modules once the first two are working and the fleet has grown.

How does the wallet work?

Customers top up by card, bank transfer or cash at an agent, and pay for any service from one balance. Refunds and cashback land back in the same balance, and drivers are paid into it too. It runs on a licensed payments or banking partner, so you never hold customer money yourself.

Do drivers work across services?

Yes, and that is the economic heart of it. A driver switches on rides, food or parcels, and one dispatch engine offers them whichever job is nearest. Their earnings from every single service land in one place, with an instant cash-out option.

How is this different from a hyperlocal app?

A hyperlocal app delivers a city's shopping basket to its customers from nearby shops and stores. A super app adds rides, a wallet and services on top, and shares one fleet across all of them. If local delivery is all you need, our hyperlocal app development page is the better fit.

Will adding a service mean a new app release?

Not usually, because services are built as modules. Much of a new service is switched on from the server, rather than shipped as a store update. Bigger additions still go through the stores, planned so users update once rather than every week.

Is this a ready-made app?

No, and none of them ever is. Every app we build is designed and built new, for the one client who asked for it. We have built on-demand apps many times, which is what lets us fix the scope, price and launch date before we start.

How long does it take?

Most first releases go live in about 30 days, usually rides and one delivery service in one city. The wallet's licensing partner sets part of that timeline, so it is always chosen first. Your free costed plan fixes the scope and the exact launch date in writing, before you commit.

Which platforms do I get?

A customer app, a driver app and a merchant app for iOS and Android, plus a web admin panel. Restaurants, shops and service providers also get web dashboards, for work a phone screen is too small for.

Who owns the app and the data?

You own both of them, completely and from day one. The code sits in your own repository, the cloud accounts stand in your company's name, and the apps ship under your own developer accounts. Documentation gets written for a developer who never met us.
