Most of the big booking platforms charge a restaurant twice: once a month, and again for every guest they seat. Your own system is paid for once, keeps your guest list and never takes a cover fee. We build it, designed new for your restaurant by a team that has built booking apps many times. Most first releases go live in about 30 days.
A reservation earns nothing until a party sits down, eats and leaves the table free for the next one. This is the path every booking takes, and the part of the software carrying each step.

Inside the app
Everything a restaurant reservation system needs, from day one.
From the front a booking looks like a name, a time and a number of guests. Behind it sit a room with a fixed number of seats, a kitchen with its own pace, and a Saturday sold twice.
This is the machinery we build into yours, shaped around your room and how your service runs. Each piece is designed and built new for you, by a team that has built booking apps many times.
Availability from your real roomSlots come from your tables, your turn times and your kitchen's pace, never from a fixed list of times. A table for two and a table for eight free up at very different speeds. Getting that right is what lets you fit a second sitting in without rushing the first.
Tables allocated automaticallyEach booking is given the table that fits it best, by party size, combinations and when the next booking lands. The host moves anybody with a drag, and the plan updates for everybody at once. Nothing is left to whoever happened to answer the phone.
No-shows that still payDeposits, card guarantees and prepaid set menus are rules you set by day, time and party size. A Saturday at eight asks for one, while a quiet Tuesday lunch never needs to at all. When somebody fails to arrive, the charge follows the policy they agreed to at booking.
A waitlist that fills the gapsWalk-ins join from a QR code at the door and wait at the bar, not in the doorway. The system quotes a time from the live floor plan and texts them the moment a table frees. A cancellation offers its slot to the waitlist first, before anybody browsing online sees it.
Guest profiles your team actually usesEvery booking builds a profile: visits, spend, allergies, the usual table and the occasions that matter. Staff see it the moment the party is seated. The guest list belongs to you, not to a platform that shows your regulars the restaurant next door.
Private events and a guest portalLarge parties and private hire need set menus, timings, a room setup and a written quote. The guest fills in numbers, dietary needs and choices in their own portal, and your team sees the same page. Quotes, menus and a one-page run sheet are generated as documents and stored with the booking.
Menus and prices you change yourselfA new menu, a new buffet list or a price rise should never need a developer. Your team updates it once in the admin panel, and every booking page, quote and document picks it up. The digital menu on your website and the QR code on the table stay in step with it.
Every channel, one diaryBookings arrive from your own website, a link on your Google profile, Instagram, WhatsApp and the phone. Every one of them lands in the same diary, so a single table is never promised twice. Staff see it on a tablet at the host stand and on their own phones, synced to Google Calendar.

Can it work like OpenTable or Resy?
Yes, and your guests will find it familiar. Live availability, confirmations, deposits, a waitlist and a floor plan all work the way diners and hosts expect. The difference is that it is yours, with no per-cover fees and a guest list nobody else sees.
Why not just pay for a booking platform?
For a small restaurant with a quiet diary, a monthly subscription is often exactly the right answer. The sums change with volume, because per-cover and network fees grow with every busy night. Your own system is a fixed cost, and it keeps the guest data and the booking page under your own name.
How do deposits and no-show fees work?
You set the rules by day, time and party size. Where a rule applies, the guest leaves a card or pays a deposit at booking and sees the cancellation terms first. A no-show is charged by that policy, through a payment provider that holds the card details, so you never do.
Can guests book from Google and Instagram?
Yes, through a booking link on your Google profile and your Instagram page, and over WhatsApp. Every channel lands in the one shared diary, so the same table is never promised twice. Bookings taken over the phone go into that same diary, straight from the host stand.
How does the waitlist work?
Walk-ins scan a QR code at the door, add their name and party size, and get a quoted wait. That quote comes from the live floor plan, rather than from a host's best guess. They get a text when their table is ready, and a cancellation offers its slot to the waitlist first.
Does it handle private events and catering?
Yes, and for a lot of restaurants that is exactly where most of the money is. Each event gets its own timeline, set menus, a room setup, a written quote and a deposit. The guest fills in numbers and dietary needs in their own portal, and your team works from the same page. Catering orders sit in the same calendar too, with their delivery times, location and equipment.
Will it work with our till?
Usually yes, since most modern tills are built to connect. Table status and spend then sync both ways between the till and the floor plan. Which till you run is one of the first questions in your costed plan, because it shapes the build.
We already have a half-built system. Can you finish it?
No, because we only ever build new systems ourselves. Continuing another team's code would mean guessing at it, and we fix the price and the date in writing. What we do carry across is your data: future bookings, guest history, menus and documents come over, so nothing is rebooked by hand.
Is this a ready-made app?
No, and none of them ever is. Every app we build is designed and built new, for the one client who asked for it. We have built booking apps many times, which is what lets us fix the scope, price and launch date before we start.
How long does it take?
Most first releases go live in about 30 days. Larger restaurant groups, or ones with events and several add-on modules, take a little longer. Your free costed plan fixes the scope and the exact launch date in writing, before you commit.
Which platforms do I get?
A booking page on your website, a host app for tablets and phones, and a web admin panel for you. A separate diner app is an option, usually for groups whose regulars book with them every week.
Who owns the app and the data?
You own both of them, completely and from day one. The code sits in your own repository, the cloud accounts stand in your company's name, and the apps ship under your own developer accounts. Documentation gets written for a developer who never met us.
